Thank you for using Cashzilla. These terms govern your use of the app. We’ve kept them as clear and short as we can, but they are binding. Please read them. By using Cashzilla, you agree to these terms.

Definitions

“Service” refers to the Cashzilla mobile application, including any updates distributed through the Google Play Store.

“We”, “us”, and “our” refer to Cashzilla App Developer, the developer of Cashzilla.

“You” and “your” refer to the person using the Service.

What Cashzilla is

Cashzilla is a personal finance app that helps you track your accounts, transactions, and spending. It runs entirely on your device. There are no accounts to create, no servers storing your data, and no cloud sync. It’s your personal financial notebook - we just built it.

Your data is yours

Everything you put into Cashzilla stays on your device. We never see it, never store it, never transmit it. If your device is lost, stolen, or wiped, your Cashzilla data goes with it. Back up your device if that concerns you - we can’t help you recover what we never had.

What you agree to

• Use Cashzilla for lawful personal finance tracking
• Not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the app
• Not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the app
• Not use the app to facilitate fraud, money laundering, or any illegal financial activity

What we provide (and what we don’t)

Cashzilla is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to make it reliable and useful, but we make no guarantees. Specifically:

• Cashzilla is not financial advice. It’s a tracking tool. The numbers it shows you are the numbers you put in. Don’t make financial decisions based solely on what the app tells you.
• We don’t guarantee accuracy. Calculations, balances, and reports depend on the data you enter.
• We don’t guarantee availability. We might push a buggy update. The app might crash. We’ll fix things as fast as we can, but we can’t promise perfection.

What you can do (and can’t do)

You agree not to:

• Break the law, or encourage others to do so.
• Try to access the Service using automation in a way that harms it (e.g., scraping, denial of service).
• Reverse engineer or attempt to bypass security or access restrictions.
• Upload or transmit malware.
• Interfere with other users’ access.

Product analytics

We use anonymous product analytics through a third-party provider to understand how the Service is used and to improve it.

By using Cashzilla, you agree to this collection.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services (currently PostHog for analytics). Their own terms and privacy practices may apply.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of Cashzilla shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues - whether incurred directly or indirectly - or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

• Your use of (or inability to use) the app
• Any errors, bugs, or inaccuracies in the app
• Loss of data stored locally on your device

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app (or 0 EUR if you did not pay).

Changes to the Service

We may update, change, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these terms from time to time.

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the “last updated” date and, for significant changes, notify you through the Service or the Play Store listing.

Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

Termination

You can stop using Cashzilla at any time by uninstalling it.

We reserve the right to stop distributing Cashzilla through the Google Play Store at any time. If we do, any version already installed on your device will continue to work.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Portugal, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
